Wow....that still seems fairly fast to bloom to me! I have yet to see one in person, but maybe one day. I am sure next bloom will be even more exciting!

Well I dont know the period of time before the spike started growing but I can't imagine that I didnt notice it for too many days since I watch them a lot and take pics of the same plants just for the heck of it almost daily....Not that Im addicted or anything...I just like taking pics ok?

Hello!!

I just bought one and thinking of winter conditions. Now, I have all my vandaceous indoor infront of south window. (I don't have one to the east), except neofinetias. I wonder if my miss joaquin could survive. Our winters are mostly mild.

They are very hardy. I'm sure it will survive.
