P.S. Sue, do you have a Ascda. Blue Tahourdin by any chance? Looking to see what one looks like.

Hi Gwen,
Here is the pic of the Ascda. Blue Tahourdin. The flowers are quite small, a little less than 1 inch across, grown in small clusters of about 8 to 15 per spike...at least on my small plant. What they lack in size they more than compensate for in fragrance. Enjoy!

David, it's a beauty but so different from what I expected. I bought one from EOM called Blue Tahourdin 'Bronze Grape'. Is that the same on as yours? They picture it as a bronze grape color. Mine hasn't bloomed yet but now I am wondering what color it will be.

Hi Marilyn,
My plant did not have a clonal name attached to it. It is actaully a kieki from a huge plant that I bought from Martin Motes last year. My guess is that yours' will look slightly different in terms of color. I'd love to see a pic when it blooms.

This baby is like the Energizer Bunny!
I just removed the last bloom from it a few days ago and today I found another spike growing!

Love the color on this one. They are my favorites, the vandaeous family. Looks pretty large plant for an Ascda. Is it? Don't see any keikis, oh well!

Yes, it is a rather large plant. I have it just hanging bare-root, no basket.
