Would Mokara be better in basket or pot?

Will a Mokara do better in a basket rather than its current 4" pot? I put holes in the pot and have it hanging but will a basket be better with a looser mix and more air flow? The pot right now has a very tight mix that almost looks terrestrial.

What are your conditions and what can you provide to the plant. If you can water every day and remember to fertilize more a basket is preferable. If you will forget the water or fertilizer then a pot is preferable, it sounds as though you need to repot though, maybe into some medium bark for drainage.
