My new Trichoglottis Brachiata and a few others...
Hello. I have been diligently working to get some pics resized. I cannot figure out how to turn them though, but here are a couple anyway. Enjoy...
Disclaimer: I bought this in flower so I do not take credit for it, but at least I haven't managed to blast any of the buds!
The first is the Trich.
The second is a V. Robert's Delight (red spot) cost: $5, it is in spag because it has very few roots yet and I like spag to help them get started
The last is a V. denosiana x Asc. Peggy Foo, cost: $15 a supposed blooming size one, but has not previously bloomed.

Hi Jenn, I was wondering if your first plant called "Trichoglottis brachiata" and the plant called "Trichoglottis atropurpurea" which won the Best in Show at the Philippine Orchid Society 2008 Mid-Year Show are one and the same, but only with different names?

Thanks guys. I thought they were good buys too. It's unfortunate that I am picture posting challenged.
Pinoy, I really do not know if they are the same plant. I would guess that they are very close, but being a different scientific name they must have some difference. The pictures look very similar, but I noticed a darker colored flower but almost the same looking on the left side of the picutre near the bottom. I wonder if that one is the brachiata and the one you are asking about is a more red color. Mine is a bit darker than the main plant in that picture. Anyway, I have never heard of the one you mention, so I will have to investigate. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
justatypn, how did you know that my newbies got the most coveted spots? I guess other people do that too....
