V. roeblingiana
The species is naturally found in the Philippines and Malaysia. It likes higher humidity than other species vandas. If the humidity is too low for it, the leaves will fold and can not open fully.

That's beautiful Pheli. Every day I seem to like vandas even more.
Al, you can't grow any type of vandas? It seems like Ive read articles where people up north have grown vandas succesfully, maybe not bifurcated ones but some type.

This species is a cool grower apparantly originating around 1000 mtr so it ( in theory ) take quite cool conditions. It grows in a shade house in Sydney ( Aust ) where temps get to near around 10 deg C or less near the coast.
Pheli V.roeblingiana does not occur in Malaysia only the P/pines. Peninsular Malaysia has only got one species - V.helvola & to my knowledgs roeblingiana does not occur in Borneo
