Ascda Flamboyant Mary Motes
 This is my second try at posting these pics. I somehow messed it up the first time. Here are pics of my favorite orchid. I love the bright color, it makes me happy to look at it! Plus a terrible pic of me taken by my teenage daughter  who doesn't share my love of orchids (probably jealous of my other 'chids). At least you can see what a pretty plant it is!

Hi Susie,
It is gorgeous! And now that I see it, I agree with your post about my Ascda. Fuch's Sunglow. They are quite similar.
In my opinion, your Flamboyant Mary Motes takes the cake over the Fuch's Sunglow I've been growing...  to your favorite chid!

It's beautiful and such a vibrant color. You know, I always like pics of vanda/ascda.
Thats not a bad pic of you. I think you are very pretty, and you look proud to be sharing your Ascda.

I see why it makes you happy. That's such an amazing color. It's so vivid and very bright. I LOVE IT! Your pic is very nice and you certainly don't look bad. You look like a sweet caring person.

This alliance is my favorite and you have a beautiful, healthy looking orchid. Great job of growing. A really nice sunset color.

You are all too nice! I am really proud of this one and I bet Mary Motes is too! Every time I see her at a show, I always tell her how much I love this plant. All the buds are open now so it is in it's full glory. Twenty four 2.5 inch flowers!
Be sure to look at David's pics of Fuch's Sunglow. Beautiful color, too. I'm going to try to get one of those also.  |

Nice growing Susie, I love the color. You are so lucky to have such a beauty. I'm going to have to look up the Motes at the shows in the area next time around. Still haven't met them yet. Keep posting the blooming pictures. I'm working on a new 'Wish List'  |
