I saw a photo that showed one flower produced by each spike and they appeared to stay right up next to the plant with no real branching out. This variety is supposed to have very dark blooms and is also known as a black orchid. They're supposed to thrive in high light and are described as vigorous growers. I'll post pics when she blooms.
I saw some with the same form at an orchid show being sold as bare-root cuttings. There was a ton of them on the vendors table (all plump and healthy)but the vendor had dissappeared and there were no descriptions or photos indicating the identity of the plant. The vendor never returned and his replacement wasn't knowledgeable so myself and others gave up and moved on. He probably lost alot of sales.
