Aerido Vanda Photisan
I was out riding around in Homestead again just looking. I ended up bringing this one home. I wish the pics would have come out better. It seems like maybe I got fog on my lens? Oh yeah very fragrant.

Oh, that's a beauty. I love the cheerful yellow color. What a thrill it must be to wander through thier greenhouse.

Thanks Shakkai. The roots and the fragrance was what sold me on it. It also had a kiki on the bottom of the stem which they cut and put it in another small basket for me. I stared at them for hours it seems.

Definitely a keeper!
The fragrance and yellow color is from Vanda denisoniana parent; the other parent, Aerides houlletianum has imparted its floriferousness.

Wow, that's one handsome plant! Maybe I missed where it was mentioned, but whose greenhouse is being referred to here--a commercial nursery's or an individual's? Congratulations on the great find!

Thanks smweaver. I like it a lot too.No the name of the greenhouse was never mentioned. The picture is a corner of my pool area.
It was purchased at a place called Banjong Orchids. I intended to put up pictures of their greenhouse and its orchids but haven't. If you're interested I could resize them and post them later.
