While the red in this orchid is quite striking, it lacks a fragarance. Fragrance is at the top of my rating formula for orchids I cultivate. The reason is they are all beautiful, but that added bonus of a sweet fragrance is what turns me on the most (regarding orchids of course).  |

You're right . The color striking. No fragrance...no problem it's gorgeous regardless of it. It's beautiful!!!

I agree. fragrance is a bonus, but I could live with that color very easily! Way to go.

I live close to Tallahassee, where is Valkarie? Fragrance or NO fragrance I will take it off your hands. It is such a beautiful striking red. Nice growing, thanks for the pic.

I must say that yes; fragrance is desirable but I'll settle for that color. The first orchid that I got were Phals and they didn't have any scent so. To me it's not a determinig factor.

Thanx for the kind comments Don. Valkaria is in East Central Florida, just south of Palm Bay. Still quite rural, and we try to keep it that way. |
