I'm happy for you. It's so much fun to see a new baby bloom. She is a pretty bright color.

Tomorrow I will post some pics of the result of buying vandas planted in bark. I was surprised at all the dead roots in the bark and nice healthy ones sticking out all over above the bark. The dealer told me that is the ideal way to plant vandas. It was suggested to me to replant my vandas from their baskets and I would be surprised at how well they do. I don't need that kind of surprise.

I can't imagine anything that causes half the roots to die to be "ideal" for any plant. Glad you listened to better advice.
