Default Info on Vanda

all, I picked up this V. Phala-caycokcii red and had no luck on information. I assume to care for it like any other Vanda? It is grown in a plastic basket inside a cedar basket then someone stuffed sphagnum around it. past 3 sets of leaves. I immediately removed the moss. What do you think?

I looked around and found nothing under that name - but it's a beauty!
Perhaps you can get some info from the person or place you purchased it from

I think what you should be looking for is Paraphalaenopsis Laycockii. BUT. The color is wrong & I think it could be crossed with another Vandaceous orchid. Its not a pure Vanda.

I think you have got it. After looking closer at the tag it appears that there is a L under the C. Maybe there are different color varieties. Thank you

There are different colors available but not this intense that I can find. I think, as I said, it has a vanda or Ascocenda or maybe even a Renanthera in it as well. The flower shape is wrong for a pure Paraphalaenopsis.
I believe it to be a hybrid, not a species.

Have a look at this website and you will see the type of flower shape I mentioned that is different to a straight paraphlaenopsis, for reference.
Renanthopsis Hybrids
