Default Paraphalaenopsis serpentilingua x Vascostylis Tham Yuen Hae

A neat and new intergenetic hybrid, Paraphalaenopsis serpentilingua x Vascostylis Tham Yuen Hae which was hybridized by Motes. I purchased it during a society talk when he came all the way from Flordia. The Paraphalaenopsis allows for a more compact plant and lower light tolerance (which is suprising because terete shaped leaves usually indicate high light lovers).
I was hoping for blue from the Vascostylis Tham Yuen Hae, but it turned out to be pink but that is ok. Also its fragrance is a bonus. Its other three buds didn't fully open yet, and I wouldn't expect a sequenial bloomer, perhaps it is a water/humidity issue (I'm not sure b/c im not a vanda expert) I will probably get a larger display of blooms as the plant matures

I love it. Such a beautiful color. Is it a tall plant?

How lovely color!
I had a similar cross but it killed by cold front hitting.

What a great cross! The color is fantastic and the shape is wonderful! Hope you post pics in the following years of it as it matures and gives you more blooms.

Interesting cross! I have a serpentlingua and the blooming pattern looks very similar to the way yours is opening. I love that the lip is forked.
