Vanda glass broke - damaged roots

Hello all!

Sadly the glass vase of my Vanda keiki slipped from hands and majority of roots are cracked, all the way around the stela, would you guys think it will continue to function and support plant until it shoots new roots?

Simce then I have put her in the new glass vase which has more thick walls

The velamen that cracked is not still living. It is like a sponge to hold water. The water conducting tissue at the center is still intact or the roots would have fallen off. The root function should remain normal.

Thank You, I imagines but still wanted some insight, because I have Vanda where velamen is dead and shrinked 1cm above and below the crack but root tip continues to grow below the crack
