If you look them up on orchidroots.com, they share one parent, and the other parent is a species. These two species are very different. The color range of both hybrids is very similar. It's subtle, but the upper petals in most of the Tan Chay Yan examples are reminiscent of the upper petals of V. dearei. Other examples look almost the same as Pda. T. M. A.
