I would love to be able to grow one of these but I don't think the humidity would be high enough.
Beautiful enough to risk a try though.

Bought a Rhynchostylis coelestis ‘Pink’ (pronounced: rink-oh-STYE-liss) a month ago.
My climate is hot in the summer, cold in the winter and dry most of the year, except for a short time in spring, so I never thought I would grow a Vandaceous orchid.

But hey, it got my attention, and I gave it a try.

The orchid is mounted and has roots that drop down 15 inches but is probably a year from blooming size.

So, I have it in my bathroom in a southeast window, each day, I pop it in the shower to water for 3-4 minutes and I mist the roots once or twice a day.
