Blooms coming soon: Ren. vietnamensis x Neo. falcata 'Kibana' Male
Default Blooms coming soon: Ren. vietnamensis x Neo. falcata 'Kibana'

(Will post some pictures later)

Got this guy from Mr. Peter T. Lin from Diamond Orchids. He listed it as Ren. vietnamensis x Neo. falcata 'Yellow Fuuran' which I'm assuming by 'Yellow Fuuran' Peter means 'Kibana', but I don't know why I didn't ask.

Neat little plant with good roots in some bark, and it came with a spike that seeming to get pretty long compared to the small plant, so I'm assuming it's getting close to start developing buds.

Don't know if this is what the flower will look like, but I found a few pictures of the same or similar hybrid:

This guy's spike is starting to clearly form buds.

Excited to see when these pop open!

Why try to guess from pictures? You'll soon see! And if you have questions, Peter is very responsive, so just ask. He is extremel knowledgeable about Neof. falcata, grows many of them.

Default Blooming!

This guy popped over my vacation, and it looks great!

There's definitely some good influence of Ren. vietnamensis in the flowers (you can see the bottom two petals have a bit more red tint in them).

Great little plant.
