Greetings, everyone!

I hope this post is in the correct sub-forum...

This is the first time this micro-mini-miniature has actually bloomed under my care, and I thought it could get some love over here. Even if the flowers are barely 0.4cm wide, there are 11 of them (if I counted them right) and they look just lovely. So far, they're not fragrant at all, sadly...

I've often admired these online and at shows. I've a few mounted orchids but may I know how you grow them? TY. This mini bouquet is so attractive.

That is a cutie! I do love the miniature orchids, having run out of space. Congratulations on this lovely blooming!

(And the subforum is fine... this is one that could go either here as "Vandaceous" or in the Miniature subforum, your choice. It's both!)

Being completely honest, I most often forget it exists... I let it hang close to my S. brevipedunculata and my C. alaorii, surrounded by bigger Cattleyas. Sadly, I haven't got much space (only a "windowsill") so it definitely gets less light than it probably could take, but it's mostly bright indirect light all day long (coupled with some grow lights). It is also pretty close to the humidifier, so it ends up not needing daily waterings (humidity tends to be 75-85% pretty much all the time). All in all, it is a relatively easy-to-grow orchid in my indoors setting. I'd say if you can find a cheap one, you should definitely give it a try!

Thanks, Roberta! I have been getting a few miniatures lately, as well, since they can easily be hung on the shelves where the bigger Cattleyas sit, without overcrowding the space too much, ahahah!

It doesn't matter whether you have a small space to start with (in which case you run out of space sooner) or a big back yard, I still have run out of space.
