A way to keep vandas

Not sure if I copied URL correctly. I melt holes on bottom of clear plastic containers of appropriate size. I swirl wet vanda roots into "pot" and add some packing peanuts and/or a few chunks of styro. Plant base/leaves at level with top of pot. Vanda anchored in securely. As Motes says, water till roots're green, water 12-24 hrs after roots turn dry/white. Indoors overwinter, and watering is more controllable and efficient. Outside in summer moisture holds a little longer but roots still dry fast. They grow and flower. This past year I used kelpak from Ray, and roots went ballistic. I have around 30 vandaceous. Maybe this will work for you.

That method of posting photos doesn't work. This is old software. People who do it will soon chime in.

One way to learn is to look at a message somebody else posted, then hit Reply. The reply box shows the Orchid Board specific tags and the URL for the photo on an external site.

There is a sticky thread on posting photos near the top of About This Forum. That's the method I use but it doesn't permit high-resolution photos. From the left yellow menu select Forums then About This Forum.

I've posted this before, but here is the easiest method I have found. Upload your images to PostImages.com
Once uploaded select 'hotlink for forums'.
Paste the link where you want the image to appear. They will look like this:
