Love it! My favorite genus.
I have a quin I bought from a reputable vendor maybe 3-4 years ago and I was disappointed only because the flowers didn't have the 5 (quin) color slashes. It was straight pink.
Now that I see yours, maybe I have the var. magnifica because they look identical.
IOSPE doesn't distinguish this variety so this is interesting now.
Pic of mine below.

It certainly looks like the same!
These flowers photographed yesterday morning come from the same plant as the flowers here LINK1 and LINK2 - photographed a couple of years ago or so, which were already on the plant when it came in the post at that time, and some of the buds didn't make it at that time - maybe just due to being inside the box for a few days, and also change in environment.
The flowers from your photograph certainly appear to be of the magnifica variety. It really looks identical. If you later acquire the other sort that you mention, with the colour slashes, then that will be excellent too. Nice variety.

Just adding this pic, showing purply colours on an overcast rainy day yesterday, captured toward the end of the day around 5 PM. Lighting was a bit low level - but still ok for getting a pic.
