Good questions KG!
I will take a closer look at the colours under different natural lighting - such as sunny, and in the shade. And will also monitor the colour as the flowers age.
At the moment, I suspect that sunlight mixing with the flower colours can make the colour look different (to our own eyes). When the lighting is lower - less bright - I reckon that the colour will look more violet/purply. I will check this out.
You may even find the same effect with your flowers too. When the lighting level drops --- you may see more purply/violet. In year 2020, I photographed flowers from this same plant in the shade, and it really did have the violety/purply colour (
LINK - year 2020).

PDF file link. I think that yours will probably take on similar colours when the lighting levels come down too - such as observing the flowers during early morning, or overcast days etc.
I'll do some more observing over here.
