That's great Sue, looks so so cute. Mine had a hint of aroma at night only. When the bloom fell off I did not clip back the bloom stalk ("stalk" sounds so huge for such a tiny plant) and it stayed healthy green, just today I got a closer look at it and yep, yet another bloom appearing. You did a great job, do you still have it hanging in the lania? Congrats...

The bloom will smell after the 2nd day I think. You can hold it up to your nose and smell.

Do NOT Clip anything back. The spike keeps growing after the first bloom, and along with that growth will come more buds.

Congrats Susanne on the flowering. Nice flower.

There are several of you who grow this plant....so.....It looks like Susanne's plant has 2 side shoots = 3 growing points. Is this typical habit for Haerella odorata? Does it make a massed specimen plant?

I had about 5 blooms bloom of the same spike over the period of about 4 months. The spike just fell off and now their is a new spike forming...
