I was also able to acquire Bangkok Sunset in the past couple weeks.

I got a BS one from Motes for 35% off

Can't wait for it to bloom. Aerides houlletiana is one of my favorite plants. Bangkok Sunset has a much more compact growth habit.

The clone commonly sold in the US is fragrant. I don't know whether the whole grex generally is.

If you weren't aware of it, ordering from outside the EU is not so simple as it seems as permits and other paperwork are necessary and it can be difficult to figure out if you have no experience. Vanda Bangkok Sunset is a rather common hybrid, so it seems much more worthwhile to look for EU based vendors. Try here for instance : Aerides Bangkok Sunset - Giulio Celandroni Orchidee Shipping is expensive (but probably cheaper than shipping from Thailand), but I've heard that their plants are top notch.

Motes now has seedlings of this, two different crosses with different clones of the parents than were originally used. They also have a bundle with one of each.

I didn't pay enough attention to realize until after I ordered that Motes now offers four different Bangkok Sunsets. Two are in the bundle. Another uses an alba Aerides houlettiana. The fourth batch is from Thailand but I don't know whether they are seedlings or mericlones.

I don't mind; two are enough for now.
