Ascocentrum pumilum
Default Ascocentrum pumilum

Here is the first bloom on Ascocentrum pumilum from Andy's orchids. Intense crystalline pink flowers that really stand out. Mounted and growing outdoors. Filtered sun and watered every other day. It's supposedly okay to near freezing... (so never in SoCal?)

I never thought much about miniature orchids, but I'm glad I got this one! The flowers pack a punch for a tiny thing.

Thanks. No, I don't detect any fragrance from this one unfortunately!

That's a cute one!!! The color is really nice and I like the sparkliness of the flower, like it was covered in a fine mist or frost.
