Default Bangkok Sunset failure

Last fall I ordered from Motts in Fla, four blooming size mature Vandas. Since I live in NM, the did not ship due to cold weather here. Arrived this spring without notice and I found them at my gate the next morning after a freeze the night before.
I have nursed them along and all but the Bangkok Sunset seem to be settling in to my arid climate.
It lost first on leaf of small fan, then another and this morning the last one fell off. The roots are still good. I am using Motts recommendation per ES for additional nitrogen. Using a 20 20 20.
Have I killed this sweet vanda, or did it lose its leaves due to being shipped to fast in the spring. I would have checked for a package from Motts if they had let me know. Was the loss of leaves about a month later due to transport damage, or did I do something that caused the leaves to drop.
CAN this sweet baby be saved or is it a total loss????

Your post would get greater response in the forum entitled “Vanda Alliance-Others”.

Hopefully you have a copy feature on your device.

I am surprised a tracking number was not emailed to you when your plant was sent.

I'll move it.
For USPS, I suggest signing up for Informed Delivery. You can check on the status of shipments, even if you don't have a tracking number, if it's headed for your address you'll get the info that you need.

Informed Delivery has definitely been a game changer. They send emails to let me know what I am getting every day, including what packages are on their way or are to be delivered. So many times, packages arrive early and I know to go and fetch them before it rains or before the plants freeze.

Good luck with the Vanda. If the stem stays green and the roots are healthy, hopefully, it will rebound. If it isn't a fungus issue, maybe keeping it warm and humid might help.
