Interesting plant that I scored at last years Tamiami show which, as it's turned out, was the last show I have attended thanks to Covid.

About 18 inches long, 19 flowers and 7 buds at the moment. Nice soft sweet fragrance.

There appears to be some debate as to whether it is orchidea or cirrhifera. AOS awarded one as orchidea back in '14 but then later determined it to be cirrhifera. Kew, on the other hand, calls out only orchidea and does not recognize cirrhifera which is consistent with IOSPE so as far as I'm concerned, it's orchidea.

Very interesting.

Does it grow like a vine? I'm not entirely sure what I'm seeing here!
Is it scented?

I think it would best be described as being "pendant".

It's monopodial with alternating leaves and 1-3 buds are produced on the main stem directly opposite each leaf.
Yes- it has a slightly soft, sweet fragrance but not nearly as much as some of my other Tricho. species that can fill a room with their scent.

Very nice! Yeah, it seems like T. cirrhifera is considered a synonym of T. orchidea. I really love the appearance of Trichoglottis species, but I don't think I could accommodate their pendant growth habit and seeming need for a constantly hot and humid environment, unfortunately.
