What’s growing here?
Hello, today I purchased new Vanda for my collection and see two strange woddy looking structures growing on main stem, I think it’s root but it looks dead. What do you guys think?
Any help will be appreceated! Thank You in advance!

I don't know if it was trying to grow an offshoot from that or what, but it stalled. It happens sometimes and is of no concern.

It might be a root. With proper warmth, humidity and lots of water, it might start growing again.
