No really, I am sure I can grow them. Had an Ascocentrum miniatum for years, it grew and flowered. My conditions were not ideal - light was really not suitable.

Certainly will try some again, 'cause I can grow Vandas!

Tikva bet your chids shake when you come around, have no choice to grow huh ... chid commando : I think I can, I think I can ... dang sounds like a childs book "the little engine that could".

FYI - Motes' Burning Sands 'Mary Motes' was the big prize winnter at the International Orchid Conference in Dijon, France (I think it was in '04) - not sure what the prize is called - Palme d'or?
Very husky plant, blooms small and often - a lot to like!
Cheers - Nancy
