For the first time in three years, some critter decided to lunch on my buds!

These two blooms were left on one spike but there's a second spike with a number of buds waiting to open.

Susanne

I think that is a price we pay for placing our plants outside. When I had vandas on my deck, I had hummingbirds in them. At least they didn't eat the flowers or buds.

Hummingbirds in my plants I would consider a big plus.
Find the enemy Sue, and deal with it before it call its friends over.

It's the weirdest thing...this is the one and only plant showing any signs of being munched on! I've since put bonemeal down around the legs of the rack this one is on so whatever managed to crawl all the way up there the first time doesn't have a second chance.
