I like how you keep your Dad with you, even now! I do the same with my folks. It's very comforting. I also love your vandas!!!! What type vandas? Are they all the same or different types? They look really good in your new setup! Nice ingenuity you've inherited.....happy trails to you!

O.K., so what's wrong with a tear with my morning cup of coffee. My Mom would have come up with something like this. Every time I have a problem I think of what she would have done. She would be 102 next month and I miss her in some way every day.
Back to the subject. One year I was doing a display of hanging baskets of petunias. I used the tomato cages, stuck them in the ground at different levels (had to cut some of the circles off) and, walah, instant basket holders that didn't show.

Good growing Marilyn, keep Dad in your heart and he will always be there for you.

Wow, what a great idea..I had all my little vandas sitting on cookie baking trays, but as soon as the weather clears, I'm headed out to hubby's shop to chop up a tomato cage!! Thanks for the great idea!! Christina
