I do not have humidity problems in the summer that is why it is outdoors....but in the colder months I have to bring it indoors and place it near the electric humidifier with a fan even if my building has a steam water heater.

The Manhattan summers can be very humid=we breathe water under the subways while waiting for the trains....yet the colder months can be very dry....
