For the little story, the plant is named after Mr. Houllet, chief gardener of greenhouses of Museum of Paris in 1872.
I think that's always interesting to know the etymology of plants we grow.

What a coincidence! I am also from Taiwan, currently living in the UK, but I'll visit Taiwan in October. Which flower market has aerides seedlings? Thanks for sharing.
