Mine are potted in ~3 1/2" (9cm) pots and they were pretty much just the right size for my plants (up to 3 growths, so far).

Let us know if you get them... I can't wait to see how your potting turns out!

Yeah, weird way to measure. I am guessing he means inside diameter and outside diameter that includes the rim?

Will post pics. . .of course. . .soon as I get my act together.

Just potted mine up Japanese style. It has so many roots I couldn't get them all under the moss... so I just let the crazier ones run loose - the rest are under it. It seems to like it so far! Would like a nice pot like that one to have it in instead of a regular clay one, will have to keep my eyes out for a nice one.

You potted yours yet Gwen?

if u have seen one in a chinese pottery store, u'll notice that itz wider at the top than at the bottom. so 3" is top, 2" is btm and like u guessed, 4" is height. these are reminiscence of the taller ones for the traditional chinese cymbidium pots.

Hey! That looks just awesome. . .and yes, according to what I read, it's A-OK to have some roots out of the moss ball and some growing through it, and some tucked inside!

I am sooooo loving seeing your pic!

I can't find any long sphagnum. ..I went down to Denver today and had a moment to run into Paulino Gardens. . .they just had the short stuff. I guess I am going to have to order it online. BROTHER.
