Ryokuhou
The holidays are over, family has gone home and things have calmed down. I had a busy week as most of you must have had, enjoyed every minute!
I have a birthday just three days after Christmas and my family wanted to take me out for the day doing whatever I thought would be fun. Of course a trip to Al’s Orchids was top of my list! We also went antique shopping, visited a local craft brewery and had dinner out. Excellent day even with the freezing temperatures.
I loaded a cooler in the Jeep and added a heat pack for any orchids we might purchase. I had cash, really burning a hole in my pocket. Al has very few bean leaf Neos though he has/had one I’ve coveted for the last year. He also had a sale for walk in customers, how could I resist any longer?
Ryokuhou is a bean leaf, name translates to Green Treasure, and this one truly is that! There are 15 fans on this little Neo and it is finally mine. My daughter in law packed 4 little orchids into the cooler to add to her terrarium.
