I agree, there are many awesome ideas for growing on the web. I hope this works well for you, it really looks great, nice job! I've wondered about mounting one on a rock, just never tried it...yet.

Thanks for the kind words! Thankfully, it's a bonsai pot, so there is a large hole in the centre; comes with a plastic stopper/plug too, just in case you don't want to use the hole (I left the hole open). It actually dries up faster than the mounded ones on standard pots due to reduced moss, so I think the plant should do just fine.
