Neofinetia falcata Hanagoromo

I received this Hanagoromo today from Orchids Limited. The post office did their best to squash the box but OL always packs their plants safely and the plant was undamaged. I have always been pleased with orders from them.

I had ordered a 4-5 growth plant, not in spike and when I unwrapped the plant I was thrilled to find 5 buds just beginning to open and a plant with 6 growths. This plant was described as having strong variegation, I think she absolutely glows!

Before I isolated her I had to take a group photo, here is Hana being gorgeous.

Thank you both! Today the buds are all open, so happy they didn't blast. The plant is so yellow compared to any of my others, even the tiger variegated ones. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Your Hanagoromo 花衣 is a lovely example of tiger striped variety. They have a second appeal, which is seen mostly in the Spring time: red roots!

Orchids Limited is a great source for Neos. Jason Fisher, son of the owner, is a very knowledgeable resource regarding Neos. They pack their plants very well, don't they? Congratulations!

Thank you Matt! I was very pleased when I unwrapped her, the color is amazing. I have Kinroukaku, Setsuzan, Kinkujaku and another new one, Yasuri takakuma...Hanagoromo makes them all look dull!

I am not able to see any root tips at this time though I do love the heaven facing flowers.

I have always been pleased with orders from Orchids Limited. Jason is quick to answer any questions you may have as well, very helpful. The addition of the stake/stakes in the pot helps prevent damage and believe me this package was postalized, my heart sank when I saw the box.
