Just an FYI, Anzumaru is pure neo. It's "yellow" portion of the hue is actually a very pale yellow-green, and it will generally get fainter as the flowers mature.
To get a deeper color on the flowers of this variety, once the spike has developed to the point that individual buds are starting to expand in size, move it to the lowest level of light you feel comfortable giving it. Growing it in high light at this point will bleach out the yellow color.
Incidentally, it's the same with Hisui and green flowered neos as well as other pure neos with pale yellow flowers (Kokkoden, Oyashima, etc.). They have the best color when grown in shade once they set buds.
Hybrid Neos with yellow flowers on the other hand will usually bloom white or pale yellow and then deepen in color over the course of a week after blooming. These will get the best color in medium to high light.
