Default Niji-No-Shizuku 虹の雫

Niji no Shizuku is a colored flower variety, which is technically a backcrossed hybrid between a Neofinetia falcata and another vandaceous orchid. The flowers bloom white with pink streaks and are quite pretty. Leaves are dark green, mud stem, with dark mud roots. The flowers are very fragrant.

This is how we get colorful Neo flowers!

A close up. Someone (Patty?) posted a link to Amazon selling macro lenses for iPhone/iPad. I ordered it. This picture is a result:

Gorgeous flowers! Really like the pink on this one. I feel I've missed out as I've not been able to access the board since Friday.

Matt, I enjoy the macro lens and use it frequently. The link, I believe was posted by Wintergirl? My only issue with the lens is I almost need a tiny tripod. For teenie flowers it is must have.

I got one of those lens for Christmas. Never thought to use it on orchids. Thanks Matt! Stunning plant, I'm impressed.
