I have about 3 Neofinetias that I bought recently. They're currently in net and plastic pots and bark. I was looking to repot at least some of them in the Japanese method. Are there other options for the pot besides the traditional fuuran pot and the plastic slotted Neofinetia pots?
Many growers use the stereotypical unglazed terra cotta flower pots with great success.
While a gigantic hole in the bottom of the pot is common in the versions of these pots that they sell in Japan, the usual small hole that comes in the ones we find here is perfectly sufficient for most growing conditions.
And of course, don't forget to make the air cavity in the middle of the moss.
