Well done!! There are a couple varieties with these fasciated peloric flowers including hanamatsuri (more green) and nangokunomai (more pink segments).

I hear this neo isn't as fragrant as the other "normal" shaped neos. Is this true?

I'm not sure if it is less or more fragrant. However it does have the typical neo fragrance. I would describe it as in-between a vanilla sweet tart (if they made this flavor) and vanilla pez.

Updated photo. Blooms are large. Widest part of the largest flower is just north of an inch and half. Silver circle is an out of focus dime.
