This year my plant threw out 2 spikes, one with 7 flowers and another with 9 flowers. A total of 16!! A record for me by this cultivar. When it was awarded a couple years ago, it only had 6 flowers.

I named this cultivar 'Flying Cranes' because the flowers look like they are birds in flight. Such a visual treat for me. And the fragrance is very strong too.

This variety belongs to the Amami furan group and are larger sized plants that bloom late into the summer.

The second spike will open in a week, so will update pics with all open flowers then.
