I have had Renanetia Sunrise 'Prasong' AM/AOS (N falcata x Ren imschootiana) for a long time. It is a beautiful thing that blooms more than once a year, with branching spikes.

For years I have been trying to breed with my best Neo (a very large Amami Island type), and Ren Kalsom 'Red Dragon' (philippinensis x storiei), but the seed pods never took in any combination that I tried.

In 2014 I tried pollinating the Neo with the Renanthera, and for a change I got pods with viable seed. It has germinated well, and I need to figure out how many replates to order.
