NC,
"Raikomaru" or "Raikōmaru" 雷紅丸, alt. spelling: Raikomaru, Korean: Noehonghwan.
Apparently this one is considered a legit species but there are many doubts weather or not it is a hybrid.
Non of these varieties are registered by the Japan Neofinetia societey with a reason, namely they are not pure Neofinetia although some say otherwise. Over the last years there have been so much crossing between Neofinetia varieties in Asia, as well as in the West and many hybrids have been made, who knows witch ones are still pure?
Never the less I love them all and who cares if they are "pure". For me, as long as they stay in the "Neo-size" group, I'm fine with them.
Together with Hakumin , I've been researching Neo varieties for over two years now and the info will come available in future.

Thanks again for this researched info. My raikomaru is in bloom and I'll post it in a new thread. But I will include a pic here to compare the two varieties.
