Possibly.
Only that the tag just says ampullaceum. Makes me wonder then if my other one is also from the same batch, which means, I'm doomed!

Interesting how people love this color.
I was so disappointed when the flowers opened.

I want magenta flowers!!!

I totally understand being disappointed when you were expecting bright pink. I can't explain why I like it, I just do!!

The second plant opened its flowers, and these are a lot more pink, plus the flowers are noticeably larger.
Also slightly fragrant in the morning hours.

but still the orange tone is there.
I'm going to have to buy more of this hybrid to hopefully one day find one with nice fuchsia or lilac colored flowers.

I like it, but then I like orange orchids anyway.

Looks like this batch was made with either var. aurantica, or the orange color form from China (I posted photos a few days ago).

I have a Cherry Blossom, which is sorta pink (but not the strong magenta), see posting in the Neo forum. If that is closer to the color you want, I do have a division available.

I want a nice bright fuchsia (magenta) pink one!

Until then, I will keep these and see how they perform.
I think once they get quite old and start making multiple large heads of flowers, they should look quite nice, whenever that would be.

I think so, too, given how "orangy" both plants came out to be, especially the first plant I posted.
