They are! Adorable, tolerant, fragrant, mini... and I love all the different varieties. If I didn't like other orchids also i could easily see myself just being swamped in Neos.

Both of mine are blooming now too - its really exciting isn't it? I have another that is a much larger one that I got from a different vendor but have only had it a couple of months. Congratulations on the blooms and growing!

The fragrance is amazing! I had heard they smelled great, but I am impressed with how much I like it at first it made me think of jasmine, but without the "bite" I generally associate it. Also vaguely like honey

Congratulations!
Im in my first blooming season for neos now. I started collecting them in late september last year. And i think my Oonami Seikai is about to give me flowers now. Also another one kalled Kyoukai.

I had about 100 orchids before but 2 months ago i decided to only have Neos and Dendrobium moniliforme, since i love them and they grow surprisingly well here in my apartment in sweden.
At winter i get as low as 10-15°celsius and at summer up high in 20-35°celcius depending on weather and day/night.

Now i only have neos and monis. +5 othr orchids that i have left to sell away. Thiught it were going to be hard to get rid of em, but i have never regretted it once.

Congratulations! How long did it take the spike to develop? My regular neo has two spikes (or at last I think they are) and it's taking them FOREVER to grow. I've had it for almost two months and the spikes grew just a tiny bit.

The spikes on mine took a while too. It just sort of hung out for a month and a half, not really doing a whole lot. Then it exploded, and i'd guess it took about two months to fully develop with blooms so hang in there!

Congrats!
I love these and their wonderful scent.
I know different people can smell the same thing differently, but I never thought lavender.
Coconut, jasmine kind of smell always.
Anyways, you like it and that's important.
