Oh that's how the flower looks like. Very pretty and nice foliage. Are you growing it bare root?

It came with a small amount of bark in the pot, like a handful loosely around the bottom and piled on one side. Certainly not how I'm used to seeing things potted, but I guess it works for this one.

In my greenhouse, which I water frequently and which stays very humid, the small amount of potting medium is fine - I'm not certain it even needs that. In your home environment, unless you want to water it often, a more moisture-holding, but still very airy medium might be more appropriate.
