This is a division from a lovely and larger plant that belongs to Peter T Lin, founder of the Fukiran Society of the USA.
This is a small division from an awarded plant. It is up for auctioning. I have been watching with keen interest. It is now over $200!
Whomever wins this plant will have a really lovely plant.

LOL Leadmite. It won't be my plant either. I already have a three-fan Hokage, I did not spend anywhere near this amount. I suppose people are bidding on its celebrity status--comes from world renowned orchid expert Peter T. Lin AND it won an award. |

This Peter Lin is Diamond Orchids.
According to SE's catalog, Hokage should be a "yellow and white tiger stripe, but also scaret (sic) color appears".

Auction completed! The fortunate winner won it for US$291. Bidding started at $59.99.
I suppose I should've posted what the mother looks like. This might give a clue as to why the winner wanted the baby so much.
