Default NOID. Help.

Even though I have told myself not to buy any more NOIDs. I couldn't resist this from a recent trip to Thailand. And another I will post separately. Splendid colour. Any clues anyone?

I agree with AnonYMouse--it is a Darwinara Rainbow Stars. I have the exact plant. Mine is also in bloom. Compared to Neostylis the blue/purple color is even intensity throughout the flower. My Neostylis is a light bluish tint but more white with lilac bluish tip ends. Plus the Darwinara has a stronger scent.

Even if it is a NOID, I would have bought it too. Good find Debra!

It does look a great deal like Darwinara Rainbow Stars, but many clones of Darwinara Charm are vistually indistinguishable from Rainbow Stars, just to name one other example of the type. And there is no guarantee it is even a registered hybrid. Probably a Darwinara type rather than a Neostylis, yes. But Yonezawaara is certainly possible too, maybe some others.
