Let it Dry Out: Neofinetia falcata
Last summer this one did not bloom. It was the year I kept it moist like the culture sheet said. At the 2014 POE orchid show, I asked one of the Seed Engei reps how to get it to bloom and she said to let it dry out completely for a few days before watering again. Followed her advice and have blooms this summer.

Well done!. I got the same advice from Kristin at New World Orchids. Hopefully mine, which is still small, will bloom as well as yours (in due time ).

Nice show! Yep, sometimes it's just a little bit of stress, i.e. drying out, a little bit more light than normal, plenty of air movement, a mild drop in night time temperature, and... Voilà! Blooms!

I noticed that "technique" by accident! Since then, I've tried it on several of my different species and/or hybrids and it works on those too!
How beautiful! I absolutely LOVE your little guy!
