You are welcome Matt.

I am happy to report that flowers are long lasting, so this plant is still in bloom now (in part due to the 3 spikes starting to bloom with 2 week intervals).

Mature flowers twist the segments a bit more, but it is still very attractive. Here is a photo of the first spike taken about Aug 20th.

Those blossoms en mass are lovely. I could not tell before if the flowers had nectar spurs, now I know. Every thing about this hybrid shows its parents' influence.

Default Countdown to new NF hybrid

My version of this plant arrived yesterday. It is a tall plant--13" tall and the leaves are long and cylindrical. Very odd!



Now that I have this plant, I can see how close Neofinetia are to Vanda plants. Since I have many versions of Neofinetia, I think I'll try and find a Vanda teres and see how that plant looks.
