right now it's planted in a very airy mix.. I think I might just repot it in the same kind of mix and not risk the roots. thanks!

Mine loved the plastic Vanda baskets with a litle bark and shopped moss in it. Most of the roods however just grew freely around and over the basket.

I find this very nice to look at but it's a lot of maintenance for such a small plant. I have several vandas that are growing this way and it needs daily watering sometimes twice. I also have a vanda in a plastic pot and it's doing really good specially the roots.

I know they are high maintenance but I found they grew and bloomed better this way.
